Tall holly tree (tree #1 on the attached sketch plan) situated immediately to the south of the very tall mature beech tree (tree #2 on the attached sketch plan) at the east end of our property, close to Holles Crescent, and quite close to the boundary of Ashley Bungalow. The holly tree is growing at an angle towards the south, and interferes with the mature beech tree. Work for which planning permission is requested: to reduce the holly tree from its current height of approx 15 metres to approx 6 metres, so that it is (a) stable, i.e. not growing at an angle (b) no longer interfering with the growth of the lower branches of the beech tree.

Client has a mature sycamore in the rear garden bordering number 29/31, which they wish to be reduced in size. I have inspected the sycamore and the lateral limbs are getting long with substantial weight building up on them. i have suggested a two to three meter full crown reduction to reduce the strain on the laterals and match with the height. The sycamore has had a high crown raise previously so removing anymore lower growth would create a top heavy canopy i would advise against this as an alternative. Sycamore is healthy with a well grown canopy suggested against removal. requesting permission for 2-3 meter (varying between limbs) full crown reduction.

Fell medium sized laburnum tree that's been totally taken over by ivy. During heavy rainfall, the foundations of the tree have been compromised and it's now leaning on the nearby wall. Replace with 3x smaller trees (either magnolia grandiflora or red robin).
