Fraxinus excelsior (Ash tree) We would like to get the permission to remove the Ash tree due to poor state of health it is in. Upon our site visit to the property we were shown the tree in question by our client. It is very clear when i looked at the tree it was not in the best of health, the canopy was vastly full of dead wood, along with one large hanging branch which seems to of been tied up to another branch which looks fairly dead. Within the canopy you can see a number of big stubs which have been left from when large branches have failed and fallen out into the neighbouring properties. There is not many live branches left in the tree with leaves on as you can see in the pictures. Ivy is growing up the tree preventing being able to look at what state the base of the tree is in. Once permission has been granted we do plan on leaving the main stem standing at a safe height no more than 7ft to act as habitat for all the wildlife to live in. Replanting more than likely will not be done due to where the location of the tree is on a boundary wall over hanging multiple properties, and the fact that the property has a vast amount of healthy established trees on the grounds, any newly planted tree will likely die due to lack of light and moisture from the surrounding canopy of trees.

Reduce the height of 4 silver birch trees by approximatley 3m to retain the trees at a height of 7m. The trees T1, T2, T3 and T4 are located at the bottom of our rear garden. They are approximately 30' to 40' high and are approximately 10' to 15 ' from our neighbor's property at 7, Old Hall Drive. We had no idea that these trees would reach such a height when we originally planted them. Both we and our neighbors believe these may pose a threat of damage to their property.
