The council has decided this application; the published outcome sits in the record above and the decision notice on the council portal carries the detail, including any conditions.

About trees applications
How this application type works
Tree applications cover work to protected trees: those under a tree preservation order need consent for pruning or felling, and trees in a conservation area need six weeks written notice before work starts. The council assesses the amenity value of the tree and can refuse consent, approve it with conditions, or in conservation areas make a preservation order in response.

T3 - Evergreen Conifer - Fell The tree was originally planted close to another tree and tends to be crowded out by it. Because of the conifers close proximity to the other deciduous trees around it, it adds little value in that place. I am proposing to fell this conifer making space for a small greenhouse/ garden shed. In its place I am proposing to plant a small fruit tree of large shrub either on the left or right side of the garden depending on the variety chosen and the requirement for a light or shaded position.
