Planning application

Poppyland Cottage The Green Thorpe Market Norwich Norfolk NR11 8AJ

Granted North Norfolk TW/23/2404 Tree Works in a Conservation Area

Works: Trees

Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.

Proposal

Remove low amenity value Golden Cypress Leylandii - T1 on sketch. Tree is positioned very close to the Caravan Site toilet and shower block as well as the drainage system which serves the shower block. The tree is also encroaching upon guest access to the chemical toilet waste and waste water disposal point. Replace T1 with an English Yew tree to be positioned in a gap in the hedgerow border. Chosen for all year colour, shelter and nesting as well as an autumn berry food source for wildlife
