The tree is a large poplar. The Parish Council have consulted with a tree surgeon and he advised to remove the 2 branches that are overhanging the property "Pondside" on the edge of The Green. These branches are quite large, approx 4 -6 meters long and are affecting the residents of the property as they obscure light. The removal of the branches will not adversely affect the rest of the tree. All branches will be removed from the site and the tree is not protected by a TPO.
