Proposal
T1 Beech (Fagus sylvatica ) . A combination of five young trees, we believe formally planted as a hedge. We wish to crown reduce by around one third. Retain the overall shape of the tree, but prune to a better size for the space available. Crown reduce. T2 Damson (Prunus domestica subsp. insititia ) . Remove the tree and replant with another damson. Cut to ground level. T3 Damson (Prunus domestica insititia). The majority of the tree has died and my customer wishes to remove the tree and replant with the same species. Cut to ground level.

The council has decided this application; the published outcome sits in the record above and the decision notice on the council portal carries the detail, including any conditions.

About trees applications
How this application type works
Tree applications cover work to protected trees: those under a tree preservation order need consent for pruning or felling, and trees in a conservation area need six weeks written notice before work starts. The council assesses the amenity value of the tree and can refuse consent, approve it with conditions, or in conservation areas make a preservation order in response.
