REMOVE OVERHANGING TREES/ HEDGE BACK TO THE BOUNDARY LINE AND UNDERTAKE A HEIGHT REDUCTION TO THE LARGEST TREES TO BE IN LINE WITH THE OTHER TREES THAT ARE ON THE EDGE OF OUR BOUNDARY TO APPROX 15FT. TO THE SIDE OF THE PROPERTY WE WISH TO REDUCE THE LATERAL BREADTH TO GIVE APPROXIMATELY A 1.5FT CLEARANCE TO THE HOUSE GUTTERING AND REDUCE THE HEIGHT BUT ENSURE THE TREE REMAINS BALANCED.

    T1 - Lime - Approx. 16m in height with. spread of approx. 7m There was an application made in June 2026 which was accepted by the council to reduce this tree all round by 1.5m - 26/0668/TPO When we came to complete the work in August, we noticed a significant decline in the trees health. The main canopy appears to be dying back with very sparse foliage on the upper and outer branches. Please see attached photo which was taken on 11th of August. The owner of the tree would like to request a reduction of up to 6m - as depicted in the photograph with red lines, it is hoped that with this level of reduction it will help the tree to regenerate as there did appear to be some foliage on the lower limbs and close to the main stem.
