T1 - Ash - Remove. T2 - Ash - Remove. Reason: The tree works are proposed to stop the influence of the tree(s) on the soil below building foundation level and provide long term stability. Estimated costs of repair to the building are £30,000.00 if the influence of the tree(s) remain and £3,423.43 if the proposed tree works are allowed to proceed. Granting permission will limit these costs. In the event of a refusal we, or our clients, will seek to secure compensation for the additional costs incurred through Section 202(e). Should the tree/s remain the total cost of repairs will be the Superstructural repairs + Alternative method of repairs = £33,423.43 It is the expert opinion of both the case engineer and arboriculturalist that on the balance of probabilities the supporting information demonstrates the influence of the tree(s). Note: Further monitoring results may be submitted if these become available during the course of this application.

T65 (tree to left looking at the house) - remove x3 branches hitting neighbour's conifer, remove epicormic shoots. reduce canopy over Chaple lane to 3m from base of tree. T66(tree to right looking at the house) - remove two limbs over driveway wall garden and small branch over driveway thereby lifting canopy over the garden and driveway , remove lowest branch over boundary wall with Chapel lane. Reduce canopy over lawn to 4m from base of tree. Reduce canopy over Chaple lane to 3m from base of tree. Reason: general management

am writing regarding a large spruce at 1 Green Acres, Waltham, DN37 0QG. The tree is very large and mature and is situated close to the property. Its dense canopy causes substantial shading and a significant loss of natural daylight to the house and garden. I would be grateful if you could confirm whether this spruce is covered by a Tree Preservation Order and, if so, provide the TPO reference and plan identifying the tree. I would also like to request that a Tree Officer inspects the tree and considers whether removal would be appropriate given its current size, proximity to the property and the significant shading it causes. I note that the Council has previously permitted the removal and reduction of TPO-protected trees at 4 and 5 Green Acres where shading and proximity to properties were relevant considerations, including application DM/0101/20/TPO at 4 Green Acres. If removal were considered appropriate, I would be happy to discuss suitable replacement planting in a more appropriate location.
