T1 SYCAMORE (BLUE CIRCLE ROUGH BRANCH ENCROACHMENT); T2 BLACK PINE (RED CIRCLE ROUGH BRANCH ENCROACHMENT); T3 ASH (GREEN CIRCLE ROUGH BRANCH ENCROACHMENT). TO THE REAR OF PROPERTY AT 59 MEADOWBANK. THE TREES HAVE NOT BEEN CUT BACK FOR MANY YEARS AND OVER RECENT YEARS; BIRD DROPPINGS HAVE BECOME AN INCREASING NUISANCE TO THE POINT WE ARE UNABLE TO ENJOY THE USE OF EITHER OF OUR TWO PATIOS AT THE BACK OF THE HOUSE. THE AREAS NOW NEED REGULAR CLEANING, AND WE DON'T RISK SITTING OUT DURING THE DAY DUE TO PIGEONS AND CROWS GROUPING TOGETHER AND CAUSING FRESH DROPPINGS. WORK: T1, T2, T3 REDUCE CANOPY SPREAD OVER OUR GARDEN TO A POINT 1.5 M FROM OUR BACK FENCE LINE T1 SYCAMORE - OFTEN LOSES PARTS OF ITS BRANCHES/TWIGS WHEN BIRDS ARRIVE/LEAVE THE TREE. THESE TWIGS OFTEN LOOK DISEASED AND ARE BRITTLE. T2 BLACK PINE BRANCHES ARE APPROACHING THE BACK OF THE HOUSE WHICH IS 10 METRES FROM THE TRUCK. HOWEVER, THIS TREE DOES LEAN SIGNIFICANTLY AWAY FROM MY PROPERTY. A LARGE PROPORTION OF OUR NEIGHBOURS TREES' BRANCHES OVERHANG OUR PROPERTY - IF THESE BRANCHES ARE REMOVED WOULD THIS CAUSE THE TREE TO LEAN EVEN FURTHER? WE ARE ALREADY WORRIED THIS TREE MAY EVENTUALLY TOPPLE ON A WINDY DAY, WITH ALL THE WEIGHT ON THE LEAVED BRANCHES AND THE LEAN. OUR NEIGHBOUR SAID HE WOULD BE OK IF IT DID NEED REMOVING. I ALSO SUSPECT THE ROOTS MAY BE CAUSING DAMAGE TO MY PATIO? SEE BRICKS WHICH HAVE SNAPPED IN HALF, IF LEFT COULD THESE ROOTS CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE HOUSE T3 ASH LONG BRANCHES OVERHANGING OUR GARDEN AND PATIO 1 PLUS CONTRIBUTES TO DROPPINGS ISSUES. I HAVE SPOKEN WITH THE OWNERS OF THE TREES AND THEY ARE HAPPY FOR WORK TO BE CARRIED OUT ON THE 3 TREES DISCUSSED ABOVE
