Works: Trees
Decided. The decision notice on the council portal carries the outcome in full, including any conditions.
Proposal
There are three trees in the front garden, and four trees running from Weelsby Road down the side of the house towards the back garden. All of these trees will be be pollarded to their existing scaffold limbs. There are seven trees in the back garden. All of these trees need to be pollarded and contained as follows: 2 x medium apple trees - height around 8m, reduce to around 6m 1 x small apple tree - height around 6m, reduce to around 4m 2 x large pear trees - height around 10m, reduce to around 8m 1 x small pear tree - height around 5m, reduce to around 3m 1 x xmas tree - modest reshape only (not taking any off the height). The reasons for this are - to keep them healthy, to remove dead wood, to contain them within their allotted space and avoid overhanging our neighbours' property, to reduce the shadow they create over our own and the neighbours' properties, to remove encroachment onto the house (for example, one of the trees taps very loudly onto the window on the landing). I want to preserve and keep all of these trees safe. None of the trees are being removed.

An application was put in to do these trees over 2 years ago, but the owners never got round to getting them done.

T1 Beech: Repollard to the old existing pollard points leaving it a height of 8m and a canopy radius of 4m from the main stem. Tree has gone past its 5 year pollard cycle and the regrowth is now starting to fail at the unions.
