As part of the current planning we have permission to lift the crown of trees T1 & T2 to 4m. When the tree surgeon was here he was also looking at reducing the spread of the trees and asked if we could reduce these as well to prevent damage by scaffolding etc.. unfortunately this is not covered by the current application which is a concern. The tree surgeon said he would be happy to reduce the spread by 2m without causing any stress to the tree, and this would give adequate space for the building works to not create any unwanted damage. The current spread from the centre of trunk is approx 9.4m, so we would be looking to reduce to approx 7.4m The tree surgeon expecting to do the works is George Coletti Tree Services. George has visited site a number of times.
