Lime tree T24; Fell, is located in our garden just two meters from a house. Diameter of the tree is approximately 1.2m and due to size and age produces an enormous amount of leafs and falling branches. Therefore we are unable to keep maintain our roof, guttering and garden and secure it against damages i.e. braking tiles , etc. We need to cut the tree down or at least significantly trim it. The tree also has become home for predators such seagulls which generate huge noise pollution around The Spinney, especially during the nesting period. Year after year the risk of damages and discomfort is greater and greater. We would like replace the tree with coniferous trees.

The tree is 3rd along from the front boundary of 12 Sackville Street/1 The Spinney (4 trees in total). I have highlighted through photographs the area that needs cutting back. The tree is a horse chestnut that has one part that is overhanging the property of 12 Sackville Street and has caused damage to the conservatory roof by way of falling conkers. The conservatory roof needs replacing but before this is done we need to take back the branch that is overhanging and causing the problem.

1 Green Acres Waltham Grimsby North East Lincolnshire DN37 0QG
am writing regarding a large spruce at 1 Green Acres, Waltham, DN37 0QG. The tree is very large and mature and is situated close to the property. Its dense canopy causes substantial shading and a significant loss of natural daylight to the house and garden. I would be grateful if you could confirm whether this spruce is covered by a Tree Preservation Order and, if so, provide the TPO reference and plan identifying the tree. I would also like to request that a Tree Officer inspects the tree and considers whether removal would be appropriate given its current size, proximity to the property and the significant shading it causes. I note that the Council has previously permitted the removal and reduction of TPO-protected trees at 4 and 5 Green Acres where shading and proximity to properties were relevant considerations, including application DM/0101/20/TPO at 4 Green Acres. If removal were considered appropriate, I would be happy to discuss suitable replacement planting in a more appropriate location.
