Replacement of second floor slab over the Great hall, demolition and rebuilding of second floor masonry walls, strip out plaster, flooring and wall panelling, floor boards and decorative plaster ceiling to the Great Hall north wing, replacement of rooflights to single storey to the north, reinstate cast iron rainwater gutters, and downpipes with plastic, removal of existing mechanical and electrical installations and replacement with new temporary lighting, alarms, CCTV and surface mounted containment to install a lightning protection system.
