Listed Building Application: internal alterations to install wall-mounted air-conditioning units to ground and first floor, repair works to several areas of the building’s exterior. General cleaning of stonework is to be carried out prior to remedial works. Damaged and worn dressed stone elements are to be sensitively repaired via grinding out and replacing stonework in a like-for-like manner. Defective joints are to be raked out and re-bedded using hydraulic lime mortar mix. High-level rainwater goods are to be made good with damaged clips replaced. Rear external staircase to have rust mechanically removed and then treated. Minor repairs to window frames and sills with decorations where condition has deteriorated and re-painting of stair nosings.
