62 Occupation Lane Edwinstowe NG21 9HU
Proposal
Undertake works to tree protected by TPO N284 on Land Between Occupation Lane & Sandy Lane identified as T10 -Oak Crown thin of approximately 15% throughout the crown. Remove all dead, dying, diseased and damaged branches greater than 25mm diameter throughout the canopy. Remove crossing, rubbing and competing branches where they are causing abrasion, wounding or potential structural defects to retained limbs. Selective crown lifting by removing or shortening secondary lower branches to provide a minimum clearance of approximately 2.5 metres above ground level within the garden area, whilst maintaining a balanced crown structure and avoiding excessive removal of lower growth. Remove any epicormic growth, broken stubs and redundant branch material arising from the above operations.

About trees applications
How this application type works
Tree applications cover work to protected trees: those under a tree preservation order need consent for pruning or felling, and trees in a conservation area need six weeks written notice before work starts. The council assesses the amenity value of the tree and can refuse consent, approve it with conditions, or in conservation areas make a preservation order in response.
