Proposal
1. Chestnut (western tree, adjacent to parking bay 5 of neighbouring block) - Remove major deadwood greater than 25mm diameter and laterally reduce the south-eastern aspect over the neighbouring car park by up to 1.5 metres. All pruning cuts shall be made to suitable secondary growth points and shall maintain a stable platform for the expected regrowth - 15x10m down to 15x8.5m 2. Chestnut (second tree in from the west, adjacent to parking bay 4 of neighbouring block) - Minor dieback in upper crown. Reduce the protruding tops by up to 1.5 metres to match the tree group. All pruning cuts shall be made to suitable secondary growth points and shall maintain a stable platform for the expected regrowth - 17x10m down to 15.5x10m 3. Chestnut (third tree in from the west) Laterally reduce the south-eastern aspect over the neighbouring car park by up to 1.5 metres. All pruning cuts shall be made to suitable secondary growth points and shall maintain a stable platform for the expected regrowth - 17x12m down to 17x10.5m The reasons for the works is to prevent debris falling and damaging vehicles in the adjacent car park.
