Planning application
2 Fryleigh Cottages, Snowerhill Road, Betchworth, Surrey, RH3 7AF
Works: Trees
Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.
Proposal
Sweet Gum (Liquidambar styraciflua) tree to be removed. The tree is over shadowing 2 Fryleigh cottage a grade ii listed 16th century cottage. The tree is growing very close to the property which has extensive damp issues. The removal of the tree would help to allow air and light to the property. The root system is also under mining the patio and entrance area, we fear in time that it may also affect the structure of the building and would like to deal with the issue sooner than later.
