Proposal
Variation of conditions 2 of approved planning permission MO/2020/2092 for the erection of a pair of semi-detached dwellings following demolition of the existing church auditorium. Formation of pitched roof form over church, small extension at rear/side to replace porch, front roof projection and alterations to the external facade of the church, to allow new windows to the church on the north elevation, a door added to side elevation of the church (previously a full height window), gate and railings to church garden area, increased height to pitched roof and flat roof at the church, rear elevation- large gable window omitted, and new ?slot? windows added to elevation of the church, rear elevation- new external gate for security. Variation of condition 11 to clarify that the 10% reduction of carbon emissions of the predicted energy use of "the development" does not include the church building. Removal of condition 12 as a rating of ?Very Good? cannot be achieved for the church.. Variation of condition 14 to clarify that it is not possible to provide bike stores for the church (they will be provided for the new dwellings).

What a grant of permission means
The process from here
Permission has been granted, usually subject to conditions listed on the decision notice, some of which must be discharged before work starts. The decision notice on the council portal sets out exactly what was approved.
Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses. Neighbours cannot appeal a grant; challenging one means judicial review of how the decision was made, within tight time limits.
About conditions applications
How this application type works
This type of application deals with conditions attached to an existing permission, either by supplying the details a condition requires, called discharging it, or by asking to vary or remove one. It does not reopen the principle of the permission itself. Building often cannot lawfully start, or continue past a set stage, until the named conditions are discharged.
