01 - Oak - Crown reduce the overall size of the tree by upto 1.5m by selectively removing the larger stems of regeneration from the previous reduction points to leave a balanced canopy, thin crown by approximately 20%. remove deadwood greater than 25mm in diameter. 01 - A reduction of the canopy is requested as part of an ongoing maintenance program to retain the canopy at an acceptable size due to the close proximity of the tree to the building. As the tree is close to the building there is an element of shading and therefore there is a requirement to use unnecessary resources throughout the day time. The volume of leaf litter generated by a large canopy is also creating additional tasks for my client clearing gutters and causing blockages. as such it is considered to to be having an affect on the reasonable enjoyment of the property for my client. The tree has been maintained on this program for many cycles and it has proven that it has always responded well and has had no detrimental effect 02 - Pittosporum - Remove the 3 stems nearest the fence at the rear. Trim top of the bamboo by 1m and reduce the pittosporum to match. 02 - Exempt works. 03 - Horse Chestnut - Crown reduce the height of the tree by 1m and lateral growth by 0.5m by selectively removing the larger reduction points to leave a balanced canopy. 03 - A reduction of the canopy is requested as part of an ongoing maintenance program to retain the canopy at an acceptable size due to the close proximity of the tree to the building. TPO/114/2/I T1 – Silver Birch. It is proposed to reduce the crown by approximately 1–2 metres, pruning back towards the previous reduction points where suitable. Given the tree's previous management history and the amount of regrowth produced, we would also request consideration for the tree to be managed on a 3 year pruning cycle, reducing new growth back towards the established pruning framework as required.
