Proposal
Listed Building Consent to make good sections of missing timber frame infill panels to original medieval west gable wall and finish with lime plaster. Repair west gable smoke louver/window (now internal wall following later c17/c18 addition to the building). To protect medieval smoke blackening of wattle & daub form a lightweight stud wall in front of the east wall of the original open hall. Lime plaster between all exposed medieval open hall roof and wall timbers. Lime plaster over new stud wall and the installation of lime plastered ceiling at purlin level.
