Planning application
DM/26/1284
Oak Lodge 1 Franklands Gardens Burgess Hill West Sussex RH15 0UJ
Proposal
T1 Sycamore: Crown lift removing lower branches to approximately 6m (the bottom of the crown). Thin crown by 15% removing damaged, crossing and dead branches. Cut back branches growing towards Oak lodge by 2m cutting to suitable growth points and keeping wound size to a minimum as the tree is excessively shading the garden.

About trees applications
How this application type works
Tree applications cover work to protected trees: those under a tree preservation order need consent for pruning or felling, and trees in a conservation area need six weeks written notice before work starts. The council assesses the amenity value of the tree and can refuse consent, approve it with conditions, or in conservation areas make a preservation order in response.
