Proposal

Decommissioning of the existing operational Elliots Hill Wind Farm and Wolf Bog Wind Farm and repowering of the site to provide up to 5 new turbines with height up to 150m. Key elements of the proposed Development include: a) Decommissioning the 15 turbines; Installation of up to five new wind turbines; b) construction of upgraded or new onsite access tracks; c) Potential turbine delivery route and site entrance upgrade works; d) Provision of a temporary construction compound for use during the decommissioining and construction phase; e) Upgrade of the two existing substations to accommodate power collection from the new wind turbines; and f) Implementation of site reinstatement and restoration works following the decommissioning and construction activities.
