Crown lift the tree to crown break at 7-8m AGL, removing growth from the main stem and any other branches up to the first major union. Height reduced from 16m to 12-12.5 and radial spread from 7-7.5m to 4m. REDUCE the remaining crown of the tree by the selective removal of between 3.5-4 metres from the branch tips depending on the opportunities for cutting back to suitable live growth in each instance.   T1. Oak - Reduce height and radial spread by 2m. Current height 16m leaving at 14m. Current radius 9m leaving at 7m. The tree recent hard a large limb failure which subsequently hit and ripped out a further two large limbs which fell into the garage and on top of the adjacent garage. The loss of these branches has left a large hole in the canopy. It looks as though the tree has recently been crown thinned.
