Proposal
Listed building consent for the replacement of two existing internal modern, non-historic doors with appropriate fire-rated doors within the same existing openings, with no alteration to the size or position of the openings. The existing doors are modern additions and do not form part of the historic fabric of the listed building. The works also include the installation of fire-resistant plasterboard lining to the basement. The works are required to improve fire safety and the protection of the building and its occupants, whilst minimising intervention to the historic fabric and helping to ensure the continued conservation and preservation of the listed building and its historic character.
