Reduce rest of lateral spread from approximately 6m spread to 4.5m spread to balance crown. Remove Epicormic growth to a height of 5m. Hornbeam (T3-T4) To be treated as one for the purpose of this application as growing so close together. Both trees growing at substantial angle leaning towards out buildings. Trees to reduce in height from approximately 15m to a final height of 12m to reduce weight of leaning trees towards brick outbuildings. Lateral branches on all sides to be reduced from 8m to 5m to reduce lateral branch weight leaning towards outbuilding. Remove epicormic growth to a height of 5m.

T1. Cedar - Reduce height and radial spread by 2m. Height approximately 17m leaving at 15m. Radial spread approximately 8m leaving at 6m. Exempt works deadwood. This tree is within close proximity to the property and greatly shades 14 Woodlands Road. There is a large amount of deadwood and failed limbs present within the canopy of the tree. This will be removed under exempt works. We are then looking to reduce the height and radial spread of the tree to form a more compact canopy. This will assist in reducing end weight in the branches and hopefully reducing the risk of further branch failures in heavy wind/snow. It will improve the overall shape of the tree and offer much needed maintenance. This work can then be assessed and revisited in 3-5 years time.

Leaving the tree standing at 10m will eliminate future risk and also act as an ideal home for habitat.
