Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.
Proposal
FRONT: ONE Cedar (T1, in TPO A1) remove low limb on East compass, going over neighbour's garden, 33 Edward Tyler Rd. Reason: tree is slightly leaning and the neighbour is worried about the weight of the tree leaning on to their side, minimal works to mitigate risk of failure under adverse weather conditions, to avoid excessive crown reduction or harm to tree's health, retain natural aesthetic form. The Mayor and Burgesses of The London Borough of Bromley (Grove Park Hospital, Marvels Lane, Mottingham) Tree Preservation Order 1991. Informative A: huge thank you for retaining the tree for landscape amenity, wildlife and shade to reduce increasingly high summer temperatures due to climate change. Informative B: please create habitat log piles with arisings for wildlife and biodiversity. Informative C: please plant trees wherever space allows for health and wellbeing, wildlife and environmental benefits.

FRONT: THREE Lime (T1,T2,T3)(ht.7-8m) carefully re pollard the crown back to old points aproximately 3 metres of regrowth FRONT: ONE hornbeam (T4)(ht.8m) reduce the overall size of crown by 3 metres. These trees are causing excessive shading

12 PRINCETHORPE ROAD, LONDON, SE26 4PF
REAR: ONE Lombardy Poplar (T1)(ht.16m) CROWN REDUCE by 10-11m to ht.5-6m, REDUCE SPREAD from 10m to 5m to create new pollard. Reason: multi-stemmed tree has had a major stem failure exposing large cavity approx.2m above gd level. Remaining stem above cavity is weighted towards neighbouring properties and a crown reduction to reduce weight and sail above cavity is urgently needed to minimise risk of future failures. Merely reducing the one stem would drastically change the balance of the overall canopy and exposure to wind would be likely to cause more failures on the remaining stems. Crown reduction is required for safety to reduce overall canopy to approximately 5-6m from ground level (please see annotated photo) to create a new pollard. Informative A: thank you for managing the tree by safe reduction to retain as a low pollard for rear amenity, wildlife and canopy shade to reduce heatwave temperatures due to climate change. Informative B: please create habitat log piles with arisings for wildlife and biodiversity.
