Informative C: please plant the replacement tree in an alternative location in order to retain a safe standing deadwood stem for wildlife and biodiversity and if possible also create habitat log piles with arisings. A climber could be planted to grow on the dead stem such as honeysuckle, clematis, rose, ivy.
