To make new play area permanent, essential onsite tree (T1) is removed to facilitate the expansion of a safe and accessible nursery play area. The tree's root system has caused significant surface disruption and persistent trip hazards which directly compromises child safety and prevents the ground from being properly levelled. By removing the tree, the nursery can use the area without worry of compromising safety standards. Please see attached letter from the school. REPLACEMENT: another oak will be planted as a replacement in the forest area in the middle play area near the adjacent property The Stone House, 281 Lewisham Way.
