REAR: ONE Laurel (T1) CROWN REDUCTION by 1.5m from 5.5m to 4m & LATERAL REDUCTION by 1.5m from 5.5m to 4m. Reason: to manage to appropriate size within the narrow rear garden. REAR: ONE Horse Chestnut (T2)(approx.ht.10-12m) FELL. Reason: large basal cavity, health and safety. Voluntary replacement is proposed with native species such as whitebeam or field maple. Informative: the offer of a voluntary replacement tree is greatly welcomed with thanks as trees at the ends of rear gardens frequently have the space to develop into the boroughs larger canopy trees which are important for urban forest ecosystem services and for climate change mitigation. The replacement tree will contribute to the railsides, which are designated as green corridor, and to the green rear outlook for nearby residents and pupils at the St Stephen's Primary School.
