REAR: ONE Holly (T2)(ht.11m) CROWN REDUCE HEIGHT by 3m to ht.8m, REDUCE SPREAD by 1m from 7m to 6m. Reason: general maintenance, to shape into a more compact canopy. Informative A: the retention of holly T2 is greatly appreciated for rear amenity and wildlife and shade to reduce high temperatures in increasingly hot summers due to climate change. Informative B: a replacement tree or shrub is encouraged for plum T1 such as elder, hazel, Mahonia, Pyracantha, Alder buckthorn, guelder rose, Spiraea, Grevillea, Guelder rose, Cornus mas, Witch hazel, Chimonanthus praecox, Stachyurus praecox, Laburnum and climbers on boundary fencing such as honeysuckle, clematis, rose, star jasmine. Informative C: if possible for wildlife and biodiversity, please retain a safe standing ivy clad stem with decay or high stump of plum T1 and create habitat log piles with arisings.
