Proposal

REAR (Network Rail land): FOUR Sycamore (T1-T4)(ht.6m) FELL. Reason: Network Rail trees, against rear fence, repeat ground level coppice of regrowth from previously felled stumps, to clear from rear fence, crown reduction will not achieve the required outcome, the trees are causing structural issues with workshop especially the wall at the corner by the window. Informative A: retain stems which are set back from Network Railway boundary fence for treed amenity and landscape character at the end of Aspinall Road cul-de-sac and the urban greening garden opposite. Informative B: permission needs to be obtained from Network Rail before carrying out the proposed works ? please see informative 4 below. Informative C: subject to agreement with Network Rail the creation of habitat log piles with arisings on site is encouraged for wildlife and biodiversity.

FRONT: THREE Lime (T1,T2,T3)(ht.7-8m) carefully re pollard the crown back to old points aproximately 3 metres of regrowth FRONT: ONE hornbeam (T4)(ht.8m) reduce the overall size of crown by 3 metres. These trees are causing excessive shading

  • DC/26/144936 Granted

    12 PRINCETHORPE ROAD, LONDON, SE26 4PF

REAR: ONE Lombardy Poplar (T1)(ht.16m) CROWN REDUCE by 10-11m to ht.5-6m, REDUCE SPREAD from 10m to 5m to create new pollard. Reason: multi-stemmed tree has had a major stem failure exposing large cavity approx.2m above gd level. Remaining stem above cavity is weighted towards neighbouring properties and a crown reduction to reduce weight and sail above cavity is urgently needed to minimise risk of future failures. Merely reducing the one stem would drastically change the balance of the overall canopy and exposure to wind would be likely to cause more failures on the remaining stems. Crown reduction is required for safety to reduce overall canopy to approximately 5-6m from ground level (please see annotated photo) to create a new pollard. Informative A: thank you for managing the tree by safe reduction to retain as a low pollard for rear amenity, wildlife and canopy shade to reduce heatwave temperatures due to climate change. Informative B: please create habitat log piles with arisings for wildlife and biodiversity.

The tree is in a private car park within the hotel boundry. The tree branches are incredibly fragile & prone to breakage.

FRONT: MIXED Hedge (MX1) To cut back to boundary line to prevent encroachment onto pavement. Height is currently 2m remaining the same by a spread of 2m reducing to 1.5M on the pavement side (South). General maintenance. REAR: ONE Sycamore (T1) CROWN REDUCTION by 2m shaping accoringly. HEIGHT 2m from 12m to 10m & LATERALS 2m from 7m to 5m on all compass points. Remove major deadwood. To sever Ivy at base to 2 metres from ground level.

  • DC/26/144742 Granted

    13A AVON ROAD, LONDON, SE4 1QQ

ONE Eucalyptus (T2) CROWN LIFT to 3m, CROWN THIN by 10%, CROWN REDUCTION to previous pruning points, HEIGHT by 2m from 9 mto 7m, LATERALS by 2m from 6.5m to 4.5m & CROWN HEIGHT by 1m from 2m to 3m. Reasons: Routine maintenance. Too large for garden size, causing excess shading.
