Works: Trees
Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.
Proposal
CENTRAL: THREE Cherry trees (T46,T47,T48)(ht.5m,r.s.2m) FELL. Reason: Trees are damaging surface, to be replaced with a more 'surface friendly' species, if possible as the roots of the cherry trees are damaging the surface currently in place, causing a H&S trip hazard in front of an entrance/exit to a school building courtyard. Informative A: the replacement planting is greatly welcomed for school landscape greening enhancement. Informative B: the existing trees could be retained by repairing the resin bound surface, or with replacement planting possibly elsewhere in the courtyard, improved rooting environment could be provided by connected soft landscaping. This would accommodate tree roots, create a rain garden and with metal walkway grating over would not restrict courtyard circulation movement.
