Other suitable replacement species: wild cherry, field maple, wild service tree, whitebeam, crab apple, pear, hawthorn, Robinia, Judas Tree, Turkish Hazel, mulberry, spindle, goat willow, medlar. Informative C: please leave timber on site, create habitat log piles, bury logs vertically in the ground 'Giants Causeway style' for stag beetle habitat, and/ or lay cut branches between stakes as a 'dead hedge' for wildlife and biodiversity.
