Planning application

71A CRANFIELD ROAD, LONDON, SE4 1TP

Granted Lewisham DC/22/126031 Trees in Conservation Areas

Works: Trees

Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.

Proposal

REAR: ONE Walnut (T1)(ht.13m) FELL and replace. Reason: touching rear elevation, unsuitable location, replace in a more suitable location in the rear garden. Informative A: the replacement tree is hugely appreciated as the rear garden backs onto the railway which is designated green corridor and Site of Importance for Nature Conservation (SINC). Suggest native species such as wild cherry, field maple, whitebeam, wild service tree, hawthorn, bird cherry, crab apple, spindle, hazel, holly for rear amenity, urban forest canopy/urban greening, wellbeing, wildlife, environment and to mitigate the climate and biodiversity emergencies. Informative B: where possible create wood piles on site with the cut branches for wildlife habitat and biodiversity.
