Revised tree work specification agreed 23/09/2019: REAR: THREE Lime (T1-T3)(part G1 in TPO) FELL. Reason: lapsed pollards, extremely close proximity to the property with branches against the side elevation and roof, overhanging the roof causing damp and excessive shade. REPLACE with ONE Tulip tree, Liriodendron tulipifera. Location to be agreed on owner's land, possibly within frontage green strip on E side of access drive subject to ownership, or a financial contribution to street tree planting nearby to benefit public amenity and the urban tree canopy. REAR: FOUR Lime (T4 -T7)(part G1 in TPO) REPEAT CROWN REDUCTION to previous prune points, REDUCE HEIGHT by approx.3m from approx.13m to approx.10m (T4 from approx.9m to approx.6m). LATERAL BRANCH REDUCTION by approx.3m from approx.7m to 4m retaining radius of approx.2m. Reason: repeat cyclical crown reduction of lapsed pollards to alleviate shade, to mitigate risk of failure of weak branch forks on regrowth from previous prune points,T4 retained instead of fell with regard for visual amenity of rear outlook for nearby residents. Informative: voluntary establishment of boundary shrubs, hedge and/or climbers along the S boundary in place of T1,T2 & T3 would be greatly appreciated with regard to rear outlook and screening for nearby residents, and habitat connectivity for wildlife.
