The tree is in the rear garden of Midwood, Dome Hill Park which is on higher ground than Talisman square, and lateral reduction will alleviate shade, and wind and weight loading on the tree. The County of London (Lewisham No.2) Tree Preservation Order, 1957 (Dome Hill Park, Sydenham Hill) - made pursuant to the Town and Country Planning Act 1947.
