Application for a Non-Material Amendment Following a Grant of Planning Permission ref: 20/02374/RG3 (Redevelopment of the site comprising of the demolition of the existing buildings and erection of 4-storey and a 5-storey building to provide 27 residential units (Use Class C3) together with associated landscaping works) granted on 01.03.2021. Amendments sought : 1. Minor changes of the alignment of the pre cast stone feature band and pre cast coping at the rear of block A and B. The coping is one brick course higher than on the approved elevations. 2. Removal of the vertical recessed brick behind the rain water pipes, due to the way the walkways need to be drained the recessed brick clashed with the rain water goods and precluded the collection of rainwater from the walkway outlets. The brick recess was omitted to allow the rainwater to be collected effectively at the rear of the building only. 3. The vertical one brick recess between the town house and block B was also omitted for practical buildability and drainage from the town house roof. 4. Inclusion of fixed guarding to the roof access hatch of block A only, as advised for the health and Safety of maintenance operatives. This is in addition to the man safe and lift up edge protection guarding to the roof. 5. Minor amendments to the soft planting area of the block B dry riser inlet to comply with LFB access requirements.
