Proposal

Installation of new flood gate existing gateway underneath bridge New grouting to the join where the existing concrete flood defence wall meets the bridge abutment wall. Installation of a new gully with orifice plate, and flood defence works to the adjacent warehouse located on the north west bank of the river; replacement of existing exterior doors with flood doors; waterproof masonry coating to the lower section of the external wall (up to +4.43mOD) and; provision of concrete upstands to flood defence level at the entrance of larger warehouse doors. Construction of reinforced concrete flood defence up to +4.52mOD is proposed to butt to the rear of the existing river wall.
