No panel is located on a roof slope facing a highway; all panels sit below the front parapet and are not visible from Wellington Square or any public vantage point. (b) SIZE: 14 no. Aiko ABC 490W monocrystalline panels, each approx. 1722mm x 1134mm; datasheet enclosed. (c) FIXING/FRAME: Black anodised aluminium mounting rails and frames, colour-matched dark finish; fixing details as datasheet and roof plan. (d) PANEL COLOUR AND FINISH: Full-black monocrystalline panels with low-reflective finish, close in tone to the existing roof covering. (e) ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT: Inverter and isolators located internally; battery storage unit located externally beneath the existing external LGF staircase, fully concealed from all public and neighbouring views, surface-mounted and reversible with no fixing into historic fabric; energy monitoring equipment internal. (f) ROOF STRENGTHENING: None required - confirmed by installer (Solar Source Electrical); panels are distributed-load mounted within the capacity of the existing roof structure. IN ADDITION, this application requests the Council's written agreement under condition iii) of the Order to two south-west-facing panels spanning the central roof valley at a 30-degree tilt, with a maximum perpendicular projection of approx. 70cm above the roof surface beneath. The panel sits wholly behind and below the front parapet line and is not visible from the square. Justification statement, dimensioned roof section (25WSQ-PV-01) and sightline photographs enclosed.
