Awaiting decision Islington P2025/1429/TRE Works application to tree with Tree Preservation Order

Works: Trees

Still open. Anyone can comment while the consultation period runs, and comments go to the council rather than to us.

Proposal

Lime x 5 T1 to T5 (16M high, 300mm ave. dia.) - Reduce crowns of the trees by 3 metres and back to the most recent points of reduction. Remove basal growth and stem epicormic all around and over footpath. Sycamore T6 (14M high, 350mm dia.) - Reduce crown of the tree by 3 metres and back to the most recent points of reduction. False Acacia T11 (14M high, 200mm dia.) - Reduce crown of the tree by 3 metres and back to the most recent points of reduction. Ash x 3 & Sycamore x 2 T12 to T16 (16M high, 350mm ave. dia.) - Reduce crown on West side by up to 2 metres, to provide a 3 metre clearance for adjoining school buildings. Reasons: Proximity to buildings. Proximity to pedestrian footpaths and roads. Cyclical maintenance of previously crown reduced trees in close proximity to dwellings.
