1. I am applying for permission to fell and remove the plane tree in my rear garden. Please see attached photos of the tree and its setting. I have also attached the aerial view of the garden and tree I wish to remove. 2. You shall see from the attached photos that: a. The tree is of an excessive size, with correspondingly invasive roots. b. The wall of my neighbour is cracked. I am extremely concerned that this cracking has been caused by the trees routes and that the tree may be undermining the structural integrity of other buildings including my own. I am concerned of the risk of subsidence given the tree's proximity to a number of buildings. c. The tree is overbearing and blocks out light to both my garden and my neighbours. d.
