  • 26/00672/TW Granted

Priory Croft Priory Road Seaview Isle Of Wight PO34 5BU

**5 DAY NOTICE** T1; Large Oak (Quercus robur) (located next to a wedding venue) - Significant structural decay of at least 40% circumference on one of the leading stems. This stem is to be reduced down to the lowest growth point, to where the structural integrity of the timber improves. The remaining lowest limb is to be reduced by 50% to remove the wind sail effect from extended limb. Failure to do these works will cause the stem to fail, which may result significant harm to the surrounding area, properties and or life to the public.

Priory Croft Priory Road Seaview Isle Of Wight PO34 5BU

T1; Ash (Fraxinus excelsior) (located within a woodland) is to be reduced to a pollard at the second main union. Reason: Stage 2 ADB and the centre stem has previously failed, leaving the canopy without a middle and side branches to have a high level of contortion and twisting in the winds.

**5 DAY NOTICE** T1 and T2; Two Sycamores (Acer pseudoplatanus) - Reduce to approx. 12ft in height, leaving a well-formed structure for a natural shape with regrowth. The applicant will be planting a variety of hedging species in their place. Reason: Rooted on cliff slope, adjacent a recent land slide. Sycamores are within striking distance of nearby properties.
