Proposal
T1 Beech Fell Reason: Dead, mycelium beneath bark, lifted root-plate, leaning towards path. T2 Beech Fell Reason: Dead, dead peeling bark around entire circumference. Black tongue of necrosis from ground level to 8m, up to 50% circumference. T3 Beech Fell Reason: Dead, bark has initial appearances of drying, isolated patches of black exudate. T4 Beech Fell Reason: Dead, dead tongue of bark from ground level to 7m, covering approximately 40% circumference. T5 Beech Fell Reason: Dead, dead pealing bark from ground level to 7m, covering approximately 30% circumference. T6 Ash Fell Reason: Symptoms of Chalara Ash Dieback throughout crown but not extensive. Dismantling most effective method for removal, will require early intervention as MEWP access and felling opportunities limited. T7 Ash Fell Reason: Symptoms of Chalara Ash Dieback throughout crown with deadwood and clumping epicormic growth. Limited access for felling and MEWP so early intervention necessary for dismantling.

T1; Oak - Fell to near ground level. Replant with one Common Oak. Reason: The tree is comprised of 2 main stems, the primary stem carrying the majority of the dominant crown is dead/moribund. The secondary stem leans at an angle with a significantly asymmetric crown, developed in conjunction with the primary stem. Retaining the secondary stem is not practicable due to exposure following the loss of the primary stem; aesthetic value is reduced to very low.

T1; Oak - Reduce height from 15m to 11m and reduce lateral spread by 4m from 8m to a finished spread of 4m, pruning back to suitable lateral branches. Reason: extensive decay in the main trunk around 2-3m from ground level coalesces with other areas of decay creating a significant weak point with high leverage and wind loading. Reducing the crown in this way will reduce the wind loading and leverage placed on the weak union and reduce the risk of the tree failing, in particular on the barn. The tree has relatively high physiological health and dormant buds present so is in a good position to tolerate the relatively harsh pruning.
