Works: Trees
Still open. Anyone can comment while the consultation period runs, and comments go to the council rather than to us.
Proposal
The beech on the corner of our woods borders the main road and is showing signs of disease and has grown few leaves this year. It has been inspected by a tree surgeon and he has advised that it should be felled due to its proximity to the main road. We would look to replaceif possible with a similar tree.

Atlas Cedar - the tree is positioned in the area of more recent graves and has a high target occupancy. Due to historic limb failures the trees crown is out of balance with large limbs overextended, reduce the overextended limbs by removing 2-3 metres of growth to a suitable growth point, remove major deadwood and limbs with hazard prone characteristics, thin canopy by approximately 10% to reduce sailarea and minimise risk of future limb loss.
