Planning application
P242202/K
Red Rowans Dilwyn Hereford Herefordshire HR4 8HS
Proposal
A Leylandii hedgerow which fronts the property (left of the gate with back to road) has been damaged, or has part-died, beyond repair. The mixed Leylandii and Loral hedgerow to the right of the gate is undamaged and will remain. The hedgerow in question is an eyesore. My intention is to remove the hedgerow complete (15m long consisting of approx. 15 trees), repair the minor damage to the wall, and install a new hedgerow of a native, evergreen variety TBD. I intend installing asmall fence no more than 1m in height whilst the new hedgerow develops.

About trees applications
How this application type works
Tree applications cover work to protected trees: those under a tree preservation order need consent for pruning or felling, and trees in a conservation area need six weeks written notice before work starts. The council assesses the amenity value of the tree and can refuse consent, approve it with conditions, or in conservation areas make a preservation order in response.
