Planning application

The Manor House Eardisland Leominster Herefordshire HR6 9BN

Decided Herefordshire, County of P242191/K Works to Trees in a Conservation Area

Works: Trees Small domestic

Read from the description, not a valuation. How we read the register

Decided. The decision notice on the council portal carries the outcome in full, including any conditions.

Proposal

The tree in question is a Common Whitebeam (Sorbus aria), (numbered 1 in the sketch) located within the Manor House garden. The tree is approximately 20 feet tall and has developed a pronounced lean, causing it to exert pressure against the boundary wall. This wall runs parallel to a public footpath leading to the Village Shop. Due to the risk posed to public safety by the tree's positioning and its' impact on the structural integrity of the wall, we propose the complete removal of the tree.
