Planning application

Newstead House Nursing Home 43 Venns Lane Hereford Herefordshire HR1 1DT

Granted Herefordshire, County of P230705/J Works to trees covered by TPO

Works: Trees

Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.

Proposal

T1 Sycamore in lower corner of garden has a wound within main stem at approx. 8m, with areas of decay and two limbs supported above it. Due to the position of the tree over at least 2 properties, we have recommended that the tree have a full crown reduction of at least 3.5 to 4m and a dynamic bracing system be installed to reduce concerns of failure causing harm, injury or damage to the neighbouring property. This will also reduce loading strain on the tree which will reduce mechanical load, reducing risk of failure in adverse weather conditions.
