Planning application
P230191/K
Arden Court Bodenham Road Hereford HR1 2UF
Proposal
T2 - Holly, standing dead adjacent to front of Number 18. Fell to as near ground level as possible. Reason - standing dead, risk of failure onto car parking area. T3 - Horse Chestnut, decay cavity now visible on the base of the large side stem extending over neighbouringproperty, Lindon Court, to the north-west. Although previously reduced, significant weight still present. Reduce in length to a point approximately 4 metres from main fork, retaining young growth onlimb but removing the majority of weight. Reason - risk of stem collapse onto neighbouring property and potentially Bodenham Road.

About trees applications
How this application type works
Tree applications cover work to protected trees: those under a tree preservation order need consent for pruning or felling, and trees in a conservation area need six weeks written notice before work starts. The council assesses the amenity value of the tree and can refuse consent, approve it with conditions, or in conservation areas make a preservation order in response.
