Proposal

1 - Lift low branches to 6m from ground level from 2 Sweet Chestnut (Castanea sativa) by removal of smaller sub lateral branches - not limbs and re-pollard to previous pollard points at 10m. Side branches to be shortened back to app 3 metres from the main trunks to create balanced a canopy. These works are historic and have been done on a number of previous occasions. Numbered 1 & 2 on the sketch plan. 2 - Lightly thin crown density by 15% of one Sweet Gum on left boundary. Numbered 3 on the sketch plan. Please see email dated 25th August 2020 stating that these trees are protected and therefore requires permission for any work to be carried out. This work will be carried out by CedarDale Arboricultural Specialists Ltd.
