1 - Oak - Thinning of the inside of the canopy by no more than 30 per cent. Removal of dead, internally crossing and protruding branches. Removal of foliage less than 2m vertically away from adjoining houses. 2 - Scots Pine - Remove 3 - Chestnut - Trim top branches to a height of approximately 11 metres, to give the tree more of a "spreading chestnut" profile. Remove dead and internally crossing branches to open up the canopy and improve air circulation.
